Volunteer with DCYHC!!
Why Should I Volunteer?
Lots of teens and young adults have been volunteering here for many years.
If you need community service hours for school, you can get those here.
If you’re enrolled in a medical receptionist or medical records technician course that requires an internship, you can be an intern with us.
The volunteer experience you get here can help you when you get a job later on.
You’ll feel good about yourself for helping us out.
You can see what it’s like to be a nurse or doctor or to work in a clinic.
Our staff cares a lot about teens and we think it’s great to have youth in the clinic helping out!
What Would I Be Doing If I Volunteered?
Here are some examples:
We need lots of clerical help such as filing, computer data entry, making copies, doing mailings, and making packets.
You could become a part of our Youth Advisory Council and tell us how to make the health center better for you and your peers.
Help get DCYHC linked up with things like Myspace and Facebook.
I'm Down To Be A Volunteer, How Do I Apply?
Print and fill out this
Volunteer Application
. Mail or fax it to the DCYHC.
We’ll call you and have you come in to meet with one of our staff. You’ll be volunteering in no time!
You can also call us at 650-985-7000 to find out more about how to volunteer with DCYHC.
